The castle was built as a hunting lodge by the Almásy family in the first half of the 19th century. Then in 1938, it became the property of Szolnok Sugar Factory Rt., where the apartment of the director of the sugar factory was created. The locals also referred to the building as the "sugar factory castle". After World War II, a primary school was established in the nationalized castle. In the 1970s, service apartments for the production cooperative were created within the walls of the building. In 1995, it became the property of an international company, nowadays it is privately owned.

The building, which underwent a complete exterior and interior renovation in 2016-2017, currently functions as an event venue and hotel. The 19 rooms (of which 2 are double rooms) can accommodate 48 people. All rooms have a bathroom, internet via WiFi. The castle also has an office, a small meeting room (for about 8 people), 1 salon, restaurant, kitchen and a small wellness area, as well as a staff department (dressing room + shower). Next to the building, there is an 8x15-meter outdoor pool, bacon grill, live foosball court, and other entertainment options.

The area of ​​the entire estate is 7.7 hectares. The floor area of ​​the castle is 1100 m², 3 floors. The building is not listed as a monument, so it can be freely modified if required. In terms of utilities, there is electricity, water is provided from a private well (fresh with a water rights license valid for 5 years), gas comes from a refillable tank. In addition to the gas boiler, a mixed fuel boiler is also available for heating. An elevator shaft can be found inside the building.

The castle is located about 5 km from the village of Kétpó, and can be reached along an asphalt road. Due to its distance from the inhabited area, undisturbed and calm relaxation is ensured, as well as the undisturbed conduct of various events.
